Then, shalt thou count to nine. No more. No less. Nine shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be nine. Ten shalt thou not count, nor either count thou eight, excepting that thou shalt then proceed unto nine. Eleven is right unthinkable. Once the number nine, being the ninth number, be reached, then, shalt thou go on thy quest.
